Maytree Eco-Retreat is a small accommodations provider and consequently, cancellations have a significant impact on operations. Should you need to cancel your reservation with May Eco-Retreat, the following policies apply:

• Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away.

• 100% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 30 days before arrival or earlier.

• 50% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 14 days before arrival or earlier.

• No refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of check-in.

In the unlikely event that Maytree is forced to cancel a reservation, guests will be offered their choice of a full refund or reservation change without penalty.

We are adhering to all provincial rules & recommendations surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic. We offer contactless self check-in, as well as extensive cleaning & disinfecting between stays. We recognize the importance of safety for our guests during their time at Maytree.

We ask that any guests showing symptoms of Covid-19 stay at home and reschedule their stay at Maytree Eco-Retreat. Your booking will be rescheduled without penalty. Two days prior to check-In, guests will receive an email with all our most up-to-date safety protocols and policies.

Yes, we are open year round with heat pumps and air-conditioning. In the winter months, supplemental heat is provided with a wood stove. For information on using a wood stove, click here.

Requests to amend confirmed reservation dates will be at the sole discretion of Maytree Eco-Retreat and subject to availability. Should you wish to change the dates of a reservation, we suggest that you contact us as soon as possible to increase the chances of us being able to accommodate your request.

We offer single-night stays from Sunday-Thursday outside of peak season (October-May), while stays from Friday-Sunday require a minimum of two nights. During peak season (June-September), we require a three night minimum booking.

With so much to do in Eastern PEI, you will want to stay even longer!

Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM.

The eco-dome has one queen bed and can accommodate 1-2 adults. We do not offer cots, bassinets, or rollaway beds.

Maytree Eco Retreat is an adult only accommodation. The minimum age for guests at Maytree is 18 years old.

Yes, you can bring your sweet furry friend to Maytree Eco Retreat.

Please inform us if a service animal will be accompanying you so that we are able to prepare accordingly.

Yes, we have a parking lot located steps away from the dome. We do recommend having a car while visiting Prince Edward Island. There is limited public transport available on PEI.

We offer bicycles at no additional cost. We highly recommend taking advantage of them, as there are lots of beautiful places to explore in the area.

There are no televisions at Maytree Eco-Retreat

Smoking is not permitted inside of our eco-dome. There are dedicated areas for smoking outdoors.

Unfortunately our eco-dome is not wheelchair accessible..

Bring whatever you think you will need for your adventure on Prince Edward Island! We suggest the following:

• Groceries. There are plenty of delicious food and beverage establishments nearby for guests to dine out but the dome is fully equipped for those who may want to cater for themselves.

• Hiking gear. Eastern Prince Edward Island has many beautiful hiking trails including the Confederation trail that sprawls across PEI, passing some of the most picturesque places on the Island. Be sure to bring along hiking boots, reusable water bottles, and whatever you might need to partake in an adventure on PEI.

• A bathing suit. Our hot tub is warmed and ready for guests.

• Sunscreen and bug spray.
